Now this is a great brake for any short barrel pistol, as far as noise and concussion. I'm sure it would be bad ass on any rifle too.
Good Quality. Looks nice on the gun. Very good customer service!
Very high quality product. Very nicely made. Works great.
Just install it into my DB15 really a perfect fit. Just love the way it look. Will be going to the range to test fire it. will let you know how it sounds. I highly recommend it esp. the DB15 i HEARD IS LOUD.Will let you know how the sound direction will be.Have no problem fitting it.
I have had three of these muzzle devices and have found them all to be very effective. I love the outside threads and you can use it with sound redirect screwed on 2 different ways for 2 different looks or without, so three choices.
This was my first short barrel brake/cover combo I have tried and so far its very good. Keeps the muzzle on line for quick follow up shots its still loud but better than I was expecting. I like the idea of being able to change the outer tube if you want a different look. I give this 4 stars only cause I have not tried others to compare but I did do a bunch of looking and reading and decided to give this one a try first and so far its GTG.
I was skeptical, but figured that I'd give this a try in case it would ease some of issues with brakes around me at the range. The brake works very well, and concussion/sound redirector works exactly as advertised. I gave myself a great (unintentional) comparison when I forgot to mount the concussion protector on for the first shot on my second trip to the range. The on/off difference was dramatic. And the combination is lighter than the muzzle brake I previously had on my 300 Blackout.
I saw this online and thought for the price I would give it a shot and wow was I impressed. I have recommended this to all I know with ar15s even the local gun store.
So installed (needed 2 wrenches) on a 12" AR-pistol with their optional timing ring. I'm a FrogLube fan boy and coat everything in the stuff before install. I did not torque the timing ring to the muzzle/break. Had some difficulty getting the brake/ring to time correctly on muzzle and even then they would move together. Perhaps FrogLube doing more than desired. Anyway, made a few shots without the sleeve and felt the muzzle break was decent, then the sleeve and WOW! Big dif in the audible (even with electronic muffs) and huge dif on the concussion at shooting position. I've seen posts where others could not tell a dif and I can't imagine why not unless they shot 64" barrels or something. Going to torque the ring and break to see if they will stabilize and shoot it again. But wow, just wow.
