Description

Over Barrel Shroud. Fits S&W threaded barrels and all other guns with a 1/2" 28 thread.

Quality made here in the USA of 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum.  Item slips over the barrel giving it a very aggressive short barrel look and really sets off the look of the gun....very nice. This design also incorporates a muzzle brake front. Since this item is a muzzle brake it will extend your barrel 1.75" (Same distance as the standard bird cage brake) 

 

Through Hole - 5/16"  (for .223 and .22)
Shroud Length - 8.25" Covering 5-5/8" of your barrel

    After running a few hundred rounds through this brake, I have to say I love the look, sound, feel and overall quality of this piece. I mounted it on my .223/556 patrol rifle and while the recoil difference is negligible (it's only a .223 after all) the sound is impressive. A much crisper and more pronounced boom than with my stock birdcage. Attached is a video of the shooting (no sound) but you can see that the gas is expelled forward and out evenly, keeping recoil manageable. Ill be buying another one soon.
