The AL7 Zero-Recoil muzzle brake with Concussion/Blast Redirector Sleeve is a dual-purpose device. With the sleeve removed, the AL7 muzzle brake is designed to eliminate felt recoil and muzzle flip, providing an enjoyable and flat-shooting experience. When the sleeve is attached, the device converts your muzzle into a linear compensator, pushing the blast downrange, away from the shooter, and directly forward. This is a very effective device while shooting in the prone position, as it prevents the formation of a dust and debris cloud which may impact your ability to stay on target. This device is also perfect for gun ranges where your firearm may be extremely loud and concussive. Pushing the blast away from the shooting line will enhance the experience of all shooters around you.

Installation Recommendations

Couldn't be more impressed. Not only reduce recoil substantially - also do a great job of redirecting the noise away from the shooter.

The best like always
For every AR that I have I put one of these on they work very well. They give a nice aesthetic look and they have the best prices in town 10 out of 10 like always.

Muzzle break
I have not had an opportunity to use the break and sleeve as of the time of the review. I am planning a Hog hunt next month (2/25) where it will get some heavy use. I will be installing it on my 6.8 SPC AR. I have several complaints about my previous break blowing out the ears of my companions. It worked well reducing the recoil but not the sound. My son uses one on his AR10 and has had very good results with it. The sleeve along with the break directs the muzzle blast forward and away from nearby shooters. Will follow up in about another Month. Looking forward to trying it out.

This brake is an absolute favorite of mine, since I discovered this one I haven't bought anything else. They work as expected no recoil no climb, loud as F##K but the blast shroud works perfectly at deadening it. I have this in 308, 223. Bought one for 308 and opened to run a 9mm on a carbine AR with a can and it improves the can performance by almost eliminating all sound by directing most gas to the side enitionally and burning anything that didn't burn in the barrel.
