AAC Style Barrel Shroud S&W® M&P® 15-22

The AAC1 is a barrel shroud designed to fit the Smith & Wesson® M&P® 15-22 with a standard 16-inch barrel. The Kineti-Tech series of barrel shrouds are designed to give the "suppressed SBR" look while still having a full length 16 inch barrel. In this configuration the shroud's rear will sit within a 1/4-inch from the dust cover. This shroud is a three-piece design, featuring a threaded front cap, a threaded body, and back-end plug. The back end plug can be pushed in completely flush or may be slightly out to get a closer fitment to the dust cover. All shroud caps and tubes are interchangeable if you wish to create a custom, one of a kind barrel shroud for your rifle. This shroud was originally designed to be installed onto a Smith & Wesson® M&P®15-22 but will fit any rifle that meets fitment specification requirements.

Installation Recommendations
• It is highly recommended and strongly advised that all parts be installed by a Licensed Gunsmith to ensure proper fit, function, and safe operation.
• This shroud measures 1.5" OUTSIDE DIAMETER. If you are attempting to tuck the shroud under your handguard be sure that the INSIDE DIAMETER of your handguard exceeds 1.5"
• A locking agent such as Rocksett or Loctite is recommended for threaded portions of shroud assembly and installation.

This little thing rocks!!!
Picked up a 15-22 for the kids to be able to join me at the range since they want to be just like Dad and everything else I have is way too powerful for them. Turns out it is super fun to shoot and when you can throw freedom seeds down range for only 4¢ every time you squeeze the trigger, you can have a ton of fun without breaking the bank. Be certainly aren't the coolest looking platform equivalent to how fun they are and then Kineti-tech enters the chat... This inexpensive accessory is a true game changer, gives you a cool SBR look while keeping you within legal rifle parameters and adds a safety element by increasing surface area around the outside of the barrel which helps dissipate heat and also ensures you will not get burnt if you happen to grab it after a few mag dumps. The fit and finish are awesome, it is a great looking product and installation is very quick and easy. I do wish it was just a taste longer so it would meet up with the dust cap area even though the included plug fills the void it would be cool if it made it all the way to the hand guard.

Well made, really looks great!!
1st purchase from Kineti-tech and it was flawless with fast shipping. The Shroud itself is well made and really adds nice "cool" factor to my 15-22. Even got asked for my title II paper work and had to remove the shroud to convince the "very new" range guy it wasn't real. Keep up the good work!! Will buy again!!

This barrell shroud ROCKS!!!
This is the 2nd shroud I purchased. I now have one on both my M and P 15-22 as well as my M and P 5.56 and they look GREAT!!! Not to mention, its nice not accidentally grabbing a smoking hot barrel! They fit great and look great. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
